CEOC offers a broad range of housing advocacy services including: information about tenant rights and responsibilities; eviction prevention education and protections; information on housing subsidies; sanitary code violations & reporting; transfer requests; housing application denials; unjust rent increases; Section 8 Certificates; disability accommodation requests; tenant association and individual tenant leadership development.  CEOC works with expiring use tenants to act in response to the specific problems and issues in their buildings.

CEOC prioritizes keeping people in their homes, because any displacement results in people having to leave Cambridge.  For many residents, this displacement from Cambridge results in a loss of long-time supports and disrupts children’s education.
